I write plays, monologues, and other theatrical work that explores the strange, funny, painful places where identity, memory, performance, and culture collide. My work is often interested in queer history, theatrical icons, pop culture, grief, and the ways we construct stories about ourselves and the people we love. I’m drawn to heightened, sometimes absurd worlds because humor and theatricality can make room for difficult truths.
