My Approach to Consulting

I begin by understanding what work actually feels like for the people doing it. Before designing a workshop, curriculum, or solution, I listen for the real barriers: where communication breaks down, where people lose confidence, what feels unnecessarily difficult, and what needs to change.

Start With the People Doing the Work

Design for Participation, Not Presentation

People rarely change how they work because they saw a great slide deck. I design learning experiences that ask people to think, talk, practice, experiment, make choices, receive feedback, and try again. Participants are active contributors to the learning, not an audience for it.

Theatre gives us a low-stakes place to rehearse high-stakes human skills. Improvisation, storytelling, role-play, ensemble work, and reflection allow people to practice listening, communication, adaptability, empathy, confidence, trust, and collaboration before those skills are needed in a real workplace moment.

Use Theatre as a Practice Space

A successful workshop shouldn't end when everyone leaves the room. I design toward transfer: practical tools, behaviors, language, and strategies participants can bring directly into meetings, classrooms, conversations, and decisions

Make It Useful on Monday

Consulting shouldn't mean arriving with a predetermined answer. I work collaboratively with organizations to understand their people, culture, goals, and constraints, then build something that actually belongs in their environment.
